After graduating from Boston University’s prestigious film school Jessica Kavana Dornbusch moved to New York during the peak of the indie film movement and spent several years making her way up the film ladder. Her script, LOVE AND DEBATE, based on her experiences as a Harvard debater went on to become Dornbusch’s feature film debut as writer and director starring Sean Astin, Bryan Greenberg, and Adam Rodriguez. It won several accolades and acquired worldwide distribution. Jessica’s next film, ESCAPE, was showcased at major film festivals, winning awards for Best Director and garnered much attention for its storyline, based on the “Pina Colada Song”. Her third film, SNAP, starring Simon Rex examines the conflicted life of a paparazzi photographer. She is currently preparing her next feature film, “Reefa”, based on the life of murdered artist Israel Hernandez, set to shoot in Spring 2018.
