The “Producing in Florida and Beyond” sixth edition in conjunction with CineVisun and the BFMG will focus on music coordination, sound design, voice over, legal (working with contracts, mechanical licenses, securing rights) and scoring music for your production. Now in its sixth year, the “Producing in Florida and Beyond” panels have been led with information that has covered project development from pre-production to post production, marketing, finance, legal, equipment, distribution and more. The panel will feature some of the most respected industry experts and artists and will be highlighted by one of the top entertainment attorneys in Florida, David Bercuson who represents artists such as Luis Fonsi, Flo Rida, Trina (from VH1’s Love and Hip Hop), KC and the Sunshine Band.

The masterclass will be moderated by Kevin Sharpley.

The Panel Features:

David Bercuson is an attorney who has distinguished himself by devoting his practice to all aspects of the entertainment industry. Bercuson has extensive and diverse experience in the representation of recording artists, record labels, music and television producers, music publishers, composers, managers, and on-air television talent in the acquisition, negotiation and re-negotiation of significant industry agreements as well as the day to day business of its clients. He also handles the business and legal affairs for major and independent record companies.

Seth Schachner is Managing Director of Strat Americas, a Miami and Los Angeles-based consultancy that provides strategic guidance and helps global clients with media and technology partnerships. Strat Americas has worked in virtual reality, digital music, video, and the mobile sector.

Stefanie Taub is National Director, Music at SAG-AFTRA, the world’s largest entertainment and media artists union, representing actors, recording artists, singers, dancers, and news and entertainment broadcasters, among other media professionals. Taub originally joined AFTRA’s staff in 1994, and currently leads SAG-AFTRA’s representation of its recording artist, singer, and dancer members who work on records, music videos, television programs, theatrical films, commercials and video games.
